Travis Burton
State Director for Kentucky
Travis Burton is the USDA Rural Development State Director for Kentucky.
Before being appointed to this post by President Donald J. Trump, Travis served as the Associate Vice President of Government Affairs for the Kentucky Hospital Association. There, he worked with state leaders to improve rural health care in the Commonwealth.
Previously, he held roles at the Kentucky Department of Agriculture under former Commissioner James Comer and at the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, focusing on small business and agriculture issues.
Travis serves as a board member for Jobs for America’s Graduates Kentucky.
He resides in Garrard County with his wife, Lindsay, a kindergarten teacher, and their young children.
