Dan Beasley
Acting State Director for Tennessee
Dan Beasley is serving as the Acting State Director for USDA Rural Development - Tennessee. Beasley began his almost 38 years of service with the agency in the East Tennessee County Offices as an Assistant County Supervisor and County Supervisor. He then transferred to the Tennessee State Office where he served 21 years as the Rural Business & Cooperative Services Program Director. In April 2019, Dan was selected as the Associate Enterprise Director where he was responsible for Administrative functions for the agency in Tennessee. Then in 2022, he was named the Deputy State Director for Tennessee where he has responsibility for overall agency program and administrative operations.
Dan, previously has been involved with the Tennessee Farmland Legacy Council, University of Tennessee College of Agriculture Alumni Council, Southeastern RBCS Regional Business Team Leader and Co-Chairman of the National Guaranteed B&I Regulation Rewrite Team.
He resides in Gallatin, TN with his wife. He has three adult children and four grandchildren.
